Our story
It started as us two. It belongs to all of us now.
Mills and Sinx, childhood friends, opened a studio in Shoreditch in 2004 and named it after exactly who was in the room. Twenty years on, the people who work here own most of it.
Timeline
Four moments that made the studio
2004
Matt "Mills" Miller and John "Sinx" Sinclair, childhood friends, start ustwo in Shoreditch, London. The name means exactly what it says: us two.
2014
ustwo Games releases Monument Valley. It wins an Apple Design Award and a BAFTA.
2015
The company is renamed ustwo Fampany: a family and a company at once.
Today
A Certified B Corp, majority owned by the people who work here, with studios in London, Malmö, New York and Lisbon.
62%
Together we own 62% of ustwo.
Through an Employee Ownership Trust. Everyone who works at ustwo studios is a partner.
Employee-owned, B Corp
Majority owned by the people who make the work
An Employee Ownership Trust holds the majority of the company on behalf of everyone who works here. We are also a Certified B Corp, guided by our sustainability and net-zero commitments. Both are ways of saying the same thing: the studio exists for the people in it and the people it builds for.

Values
Five things we hold each other to
Be Human
Treat people as people, in the work and in the room.
Learn together
Nobody here is finished learning, and nobody learns alone.
Raise the bar
Good enough is where we start arguing.
Use the freedom
Ownership is only worth something if you act on it.
Enjoy the journey
If the making is miserable, the product will show it.
